Rick Furtney

Rick Furtney is a 1978 Fisher High School graduate. During high school he was salutatorian, class president for four years, Illinois State Scholar, and a certified private pilot. Upon high school graduation, Rick entered the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated in 1982 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He later earned his MBA in Management from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1992. Currently, he is Vice-president and General Manager of Intersil’s Power Management Business, a global market leader in computer power management. His work involves world travel and the responsibility to manage multi-million dollar sales of semiconductors. Rick currently resides in Florida with his wife Barb and three sons Matthew, Joshua, and Isaac.
