Jim Sheppard

Jim Sheppard is a 1966 graduate of Fisher High School. Following graduation from Fisher High School, Jim attended college at the Career Academy of Broadcasting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Parkland College. He has worked at East Central Illinois and Indiana radio stations in Danville, Champaign, and Indianapolis throughout his career as a broadcaster, advertising executive, and radio account executive. Currently, he is employed by the Champaign News-Gazette in advertising sales and has been known widely as the “Voice of the Illini” for twenty-one years as the public address announcer for Illinois men’s football and basketball.
