Dr. S. Craig Kurtz

Dr. Craig Kurtz is a 2009 honoree and a 1972 graduate of Fisher High School. He earned a BS. from the University of Illinois in 1976 and an M.D. from Loyola University of Chicago Strich School of Medicine in 1979. His postgraduate education has included residencies and a fellowship at Pennsylvania State University from 1979 to 1985. His specialty is internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He has also been a clinical assistant professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine of Peoria since 1988 and has been a published author in several medical publications.
