Dr. Linda Opsahl-Ong

Dr. Lorinda Opsahl-Ong is a graduate of Fisher High School and its valedictorian in 1981. After graduation from high school, she attended Swarthmore College and the University of Illinois where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physics in 1985. She earned her doctoral degree in Physics in 1992 from Cornell University.
Her professional career has been represented by broad industry experience across retail, commercial, and CRE as a bank executive. She has had experience leading analytics and modeling teams across a broad spectrum of applications and business lines. She has demonstrated her skills at leading roll outs for analytics applications across business lines and the implementation of IT applications. She also has extensive experience with Basel II credit and operational risk modeling, capital models and metrics, and risk rating systems as well as product pricing and marketing.

Lorinda is the daughter of Richard and Joyce Opsahl. She attended the Fisher Schools with her brothers Erick (1983), Brian (1986), and Alan (1989).
