Derrell Fairfield

Derrell Fairfield is a 1940 graduate of Fisher High School. After high school Derrell farmed in the area. In 1960, he began a career at Shamrock Dairy in Phoenix, Arizona. While working at Shamrock, started as a route salesman and retired as the Manager of the company’s dairy division. During Fairfield’s tenure as manager, the company grew from $5,000,000 to $750,000,000 in sales. The dairy division is now located in eight western states, has national accounts, and is the seventh largest privately owned foods company in the United States. In addition to his career achievements, Derrell has served as a deacon at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, served on the board of the Skyline Country Club, and as a volunteer for Neighbors Who Care and at the Sky Harbor International Airport.
